Born From a Parent's Worry. Built to End It.
HallPass was created by South African parents who were tired of paper sign-in sheets, unanswered phone calls, and not knowing if their child arrived safely.
Why We Built This
Every morning, thousands of South African parents drop their children at creches and daycares with one simple hope: that they'll be safe. But paper registers are unreliable, phone calls go unanswered, and there's no easy way to know who picked up your child.
We built HallPass because we believe every parent deserves to know — with certainty — that their child arrived safely and left with the right person. Not through a WhatsApp group with 200 messages. Not through a phone call that nobody answers. Through a simple, instant notification on your phone.
What We Stand For
Safety First
Every feature we build starts with one question: does this make children safer?
Radically Simple
If a parent can't figure it out in 30 seconds, we redesign it.

We Get It. Because We're Here Too.
Load shedding? Works offline.
No fancy hardware. Any phone works.
POPIA compliant from day one.
WhatsApp support. Because that's how SA works.
Built by a small team of parents, engineers, and educators in Gauteng. We're building the tool we wish existed when we first dropped our kids at school.
